I had no idea what to expect, but I loved the series and the first movie, and was hoping for more of the same. The series alternated between the overall "aliens taking over the world" theme and the standalone "monster of the week" episodes. The first movie was the former, showing a cryptic but exciting glimpse of the coming alien takeover.
